E=mc2

E=mc2   

It is the world famous equation of Albert Einstein .
Here E is energy , m is mass and c is the velocity of light .
This equation is a proof that energy and matter are two sides of the same coin.
This equation gave man ,access to the tremendous energy of matter.

This equation also suggests that nothing can overtake the velocity of light.

But  E=mc^2 is not complete.It only expresses the mass of a particle at rest.The real equation is that,
E = (mc^2)+(pc)^2 ;where p is the momentum of the object.When the particle is at rest we will get the equation E=mc^2.
